Apistoria Association

The Society for the Study and Research of Traditional Beekeeping, Apistoria, is a member of the Sociétés Savantes de France.

It welcomes members from various European countries.

Established in November 2001 as a non-profit organisation under the French law of 1901 (registration no. W332000964), Apistoria aims to:

• Bring together interested individuals
• Contribute to the preservation of beekeeping heritage.

The board of directors, headed by an executive committee, oversees the administrative management and sets the objectives to be achieved.

It may appoint standing committees to ensure the smooth running of the association or temporary committees to carry out a specific project.
